The premise
A struggling painter is possessed by satanic forces after he and his young family move into their dream home in rural Texas.

When a cash-strapped painter relocates his wife and young daughter to a sprawling rural Texas farmhouse, the bargain seems too good to be true — and it is. An unseen malevolent force begins to channel itself through his art, blurring the line between inspired genius and dangerous compulsion. Meanwhile, a disturbed local man with his own dark connection to the property poses a very real threat to the family. What unfolds is a visceral collision of paternal love and satanic dread set to a punishing heavy-metal soundtrack.
