The premise
A one-time (and now one-handed) master film editor toiling in the cinematic sweatshops of 1970s Italy becomes the prime suspect in a series of brutal murders.

Once a celebrated maestro of the editing suite, a now-maimed editor ekes out his days in the grimy underbelly of 1970s Italian genre filmmaking — until a string of savage murders puts him squarely in the crosshairs of a determined detective. The film lovingly skewers the aesthetics and excesses of giallo cinema, drowning every frame in neon, dubbing quirks, and theatrical blood. Equal parts love letter and send-up, it walks the razor's edge between genuine tension and gleeful self-parody.
