The premise
Will and his new girlfriend Kira are invited to a dinner with old friends at the house of Will’s ex Eden and her new partner David. Although the evening appears to be relaxed, Will soon gets a creeping suspicion that their charming host David is up to something.

A dinner party among old friends slowly transforms into something deeply unsettling when one guest becomes convinced their gracious host harbors a sinister agenda. Director Karyn Kusama builds a suffocating atmosphere of dread through loaded glances, strange guests, and a gathering tension that never quite lets go. What begins as awkward social anxiety escalates into a knife-edge question of whether the protagonist's suspicions reflect reality or unraveling grief. This is a slow-burn thriller that rewards patient viewers with an increasingly unbearable sense of wrongness.
