The premise

Heidi, a radio DJ, is sent a box containing a record - a "gift from the Lords". The sounds within the grooves trigger flashbacks of her town's violent past. Is Heidi going mad, or are the Lords back to take revenge on Salem, Massachusetts?

Horror Vault's take

Rob Zombie trades gore-soaked mayhem for slow-burn dread in this hallucinatory descent into Salem's darkest history. A local radio DJ finds herself inexplicably drawn into waking nightmares after a mysterious vinyl record arrives at the station, its droning frequencies unlocking something ancient and malevolent. Blurring the line between addiction-fuelled breakdown and genuine supernatural siege, the film immerses viewers in a fever-dream aesthetic that owes as much to art-house European horror as it does to American exploitation. Zombie constructs an experience built on dread and disorientation rather than cheap shocks.
