The premise
A dedicated scientist, aided by his clueless wife, rolls up his shirt sleeves and tries to save the world from a radioactive monster, curious space aliens, an evil scientist and a crabby skeleton.

Shot in glorious black-and-white, The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra is a lovingly crafted send-up of the cheap, earnest sci-fi creature features that packed drive-ins during the 1950s. A bumbling scientist and his hilariously unaware wife find themselves caught between scheming aliens, a rampaging radioactive mutant, and a bossy skeleton with ambitions of its own. The film commits fully to its retro aesthetic and deadpan dialogue, playing every ridiculous beat completely straight for maximum comedic effect. Genre enthusiasts and B-movie devotees will find it an affectionate, knowing tribute to an era when science was dangerous and skeletons meant business.
