When an American car salesman finds himself stranded at a crumbling English mansion, he quickly discovers that the peculiar family inside comes with far more baggage than he bargained for. Strange deaths begin to pile up around him, and every corner of the decrepit estate hides a new oddball — or a new danger. This William Castle-produced remake leans hard into black comedy, populating its gothic setting with a wonderfully unhinged ensemble cast. It's equal parts murder mystery and madcap farce, wrapped in cobwebs and gallows humour.
