The premise
A number of children are being well fed, taken care of, and pampered at a very meticulate and managed orphanage. The facility and grounds are impressive, but the wall acting as a barrier is high. There is a secret to the place and once revealed to several orphans, they're desperate to escape.

Behind the manicured lawns and warm meals of a seemingly idyllic orphanage lies a secret dark enough to shatter everything its children believe about their world. When a few sharp-eyed kids begin pulling at the threads of their carefully managed existence, what they uncover sets them on a desperate race against time. This live-action adaptation of the beloved manga drops its young cast into a sinister dark fantasy where trust is a luxury no one can afford. The walls that once felt protective take on a very different meaning once the truth begins to surface.
