The premise
Sun-ju is a reporter who uncovers a series of inexplicable deaths that occurred simultaneously. Her investigation leads her to a resort, where she finds a videotape filled with mysterious images. After viewing it, a message appears on the screen that she has just been cursed, and that in order to save herself she must - end of tape. Somebody has erased the rest, leaving her horrified and uncertain of her next move.

When journalist Sun-ju links a string of simultaneous mysterious deaths to a single videotape, she makes the fatal mistake of watching it herself. A chilling on-screen message confirms she has been cursed — but the crucial instructions for breaking it have been deliberately erased. With time working against her, she must piece together the tape's dark origins before her deadline arrives. This Korean adaptation of the iconic Ring story carves its own unsettling path through dread and desperate discovery.
