The premise

When Dr. Yuen attempts to rescue a girl about to be sacrificed by the Worm Tribe in the middle of a jungle in Thailand, he is damned with seven deadly "blood curses" and must return there to find a permanent cure.

Horror Vault's take

A Hong Kong action-horror hybrid that throws a fearless doctor headlong into the deadly rituals of a remote Thai jungle tribe. After intervening in a human sacrifice, he finds himself bound by a escalating series of gruesome blood curses with a ticking clock attached. What follows is a delirious, effects-laden race through jungle peril, black magic, and creature mayhem. Equal parts Shaw Brothers bravado and splatter-fest, it is unlike almost anything else in the genre.
