The premise
Lucita has been locked away in a convent by her family in order to keep her away from her lover, Esteban. The pair make plans to elope, but Esteban is accused of heresy before Lucita can escape. Hiding in the convent, Esteban discovers the horrifying depravity of the covent's abbess, Sister Incarnation. Can Esteban rescue his love from this madhouse before the inquisitor discovers what is going on and has everyone executed?

Set against the shadow of the Inquisition, this Italian nunsploitation entry traps a young woman inside a convent ruled by a deeply corrupt abbess, while her accused-heretic lover risks everything to reach her. The walls of Saint Valentine hide rituals and cruelties far removed from any notion of piety, and the threat of execution looms over every desperate move the pair makes. Equal parts Gothic melodrama and exploitation shocker, it leans into its period setting to deliver a lurid portrait of institutional wickedness.
