The premise

When a young hospice nurse takes a live-in position caring for a stroke-stricken man at a sprawling Louisiana plantation, she begins uncovering secrets buried deep within the estate's walls — and its attic. Rooted in the authentic folk-magic tradition of hoodoo, the film wraps its mystery in the humid atmosphere of New Orleans Gothic. As locked doors open and old vinyl records spin, she must decide whether what she's witnessing is superstition, psychology, or something far more dangerous. The line between caretaker and captive grows disturbingly thin.
