The premise
Ana, a nursing assistant, begins to feel attracted to Agustín, the husband of the woman in a vegetative state that she has been hired to take care of. Soon she begins to be harassed by strange paranormal phenomena that seem to try to throw her out of the house and separate her from Agustín.

When Ana takes a live-in nursing post caring for a woman trapped in a vegetative state, an unexpected attraction to the patient's husband draws her deeper into the household's unsettling orbit. Strange, inexplicable disturbances begin to plague her days and nights — forces that seem intent on driving her away from both the home and the man she's growing close to. Equal parts gothic romance and supernatural thriller, the film builds its dread slowly, blurring the line between paranoia and genuine malevolence. Whether the danger stems from within Ana's own mind or from something far less explainable is a question the film keeps disturbingly open.
