The premise
In a post-apocalyptic future where population control is dictated by a high-school aptitude test, two students discover the test is smoke and mirrors hiding a larger conspiracy.

In a near-future America strangled by overpopulation, a mandatory high-school aptitude test determines who gets to live and who gets erased. When two students from very different walks of life begin pulling at the seams of the system, they uncover something far darker than a simple exam. What looks like cold bureaucratic efficiency masks a web of deception that reaches far higher than a school hallway. The stakes couldn't be more personal — or more deadly.
