In a rough New York neighborhood, a withdrawn teenage boy with a consuming obsession with vampire mythology finds an unexpected connection with a fellow outsider. Their fragile friendship becomes the lens through which his darkest impulses and inner world are examined. Grounded in urban realism rather than genre spectacle, the film asks uncomfortable questions about what drives a young person toward violence — and whether the monster is supernatural or all too human.
