The premise
An investigation into a government cover-up leads to a network of abandoned train tunnels deep beneath the heart of Sydney. As a journalist and her crew hunt for the story it quickly becomes clear the story is hunting them.
Horror Vault's take
When a television journalist follows a government water-crisis cover-up into the derelict tunnel network buried beneath Sydney, what begins as a career-defining scoop rapidly turns into a desperate fight for survival. Shot in a pseudo-documentary style blending news footage, helmet-cam video, and talking-head interviews, the film builds slow-burn dread through darkness and disorientation rather than cheap shocks. Something unknown lurks in those forgotten passages, and the further the crew ventures underground, the harder it becomes to find a way back out.
