The premise
A brother and sister are sent to their grandparents' remote Pennsylvania farm for a week, where they discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing.

When two siblings travel to rural Pennsylvania to spend a week with grandparents they've never met, what begins as a heartwarming family reunion quickly takes a deeply unsettling turn. Armed with cameras to document the trip for their absent mother, the kids start noticing increasingly disturbing behaviors from the elderly pair after dark. M. Night Shyamalan delivers a claustrophobic, faux-documentary chiller that blends genuine dread with unexpected flashes of dark humor. The remote farmhouse setting and the inherent vulnerability of children facing adults they should be able to trust makes for a uniquely uncomfortable viewing experience.
