The premise
After a series of tragedies including the death of his father-in-law, Robert and his wife Maia leave their home in London to move back to her childhood home. But when Robert discovers an old portrait in the attic of a man who is his spitting image, he goes down a rabbit hole to discover the identity of this mysterious doppelganger known only as the visitor. It isn’t long until he realizes – where the visitor goes, death follows.

When Robert and his wife Maia relocate to her rural childhood home following a string of losses, a dusty portrait discovered in the attic sends Robert's world into a tailspin — the face staring back at him is unmistakably his own. Obsessed with uncovering the identity of this enigmatic figure known only as 'the Visitor,' he begins pulling on a thread that connects the stranger to a grim pattern of tragedy. The sleepy Southern setting conceals unsettling secrets, and the closer Robert gets to the truth, the more danger seems to close in around those he loves.
