Decades after the original terror at Eel Marsh House, the isolated mansion receives unwilling guests — a group of children evacuated from the London Blitz, along with the teachers charged with keeping them safe. The arrival of the young evacuees stirs something ancient and malevolent within the fog-shrouded estate, and the Woman in Black sets her sights on the most vulnerable among them. One teacher finds herself in a desperate struggle to protect a traumatised boy while uncovering the house's suffocating history. Gothic atmosphere and wartime desolation combine to make Eel Marsh House feel more inescapable than ever.
