The premise
Jack Stryker took two bullets in the leg in Vietnam and was carried back by one of his men. When he returns, he tries to live a quiet life in his cabin and go back out with his girlfriend, Sally.

A Vietnam vet barely holding his life together after coming home wounded finds his fragile peace shattered when a murderous cult descends on his rural community. With his combat instincts reignited, he rallies fellow veterans to take the fight to a fanatical group terrorizing the area. Equal parts backwoods exploitation and action-horror, this low-budget cult item delivers rough-edged thrills with a distinctly 1980s indie sensibility. Sharp-eyed horror fans will spot Sam Raimi in a memorable on-screen role.
