The premise
A group of seemingly humanistic trucks takeover a truck stop and starts killing everything in sight. The remaining townsfolk must band together and come up with a way to murder the inanimate objects, a seemingly difficult task considering the abnormal circumstances.

When the vehicles at a remote truck stop suddenly develop a murderous will of their own, a stranded group of survivors finds itself cut off from the outside world with nowhere to run. The trucks are relentless, the options are few, and every attempt to fight back seems futile against opponents that don't bleed and don't stop. Based on a Stephen King short story, this TV movie wrings tension from the simple, terrifying premise that the machines we rely on could turn against us at any moment. Escape is easier said than done when your would-be getaway vehicle is the enemy.
