Two seemingly helpless blind girls lead double lives — docile and vulnerable in daylight, but something far more dangerous once darkness falls. Director Jean Rollin brings his signature poetic sensibility to this tale of teenage vampires prowling the night streets in search of blood. Steeped in French arthouse atmosphere, the film lingers on mood and imagery as much as menace. It is a quiet, hypnotic descent into a world where innocence and predation are inseparable.
