The premise
Anna wakes to kind faces she doesn’t recognize and a remote island she has no memory of. She is forced to re-learn everything about herself, her husband and the baby she is carrying. But when two disfigured people arrive on the island and there is a violent altercation she discovers that the human race is close to extinction and goes searching for the truth about herself.

As she struggles to piece together who she is, the arrival of two disfigured outsiders shatters the fragile calm and unleashes a violent reckoning. Set against a backdrop of near-human extinction, the film turns a deeply personal amnesia mystery into something far more urgent and terrifying. Woken is a slow-burn sci-fi horror that keeps its cards close until the tension becomes impossible to ignore.
