The premise

In a grey North Dublin housing estate, teenager Char's world is upended when her troubled mother vanishes overnight — only to return as someone who feels disturbingly, inexplicably wrong. Drawing deep from the well of Irish folklore and working-class hardship, the film weaves a slow-burn dread around one girl's desperate need to understand what she has brought back into her home. Ancient rural traditions collide with modern suburban misery as Char and her grandmother circle a truth the estate itself seems to want buried.
