The premise

When bandleader Kay Kyser and his orchestra are hired to play a birthday bash at a remote mansion, the evening takes a decidedly darker turn than anyone bargained for. The estate harbors sinister secrets, and someone among the guests seems determined to ensure the young heiress never sees another birthday. Horror royalty Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, and Peter Lorre lend their legendary menace to the proceedings, while the band keeps the laughs coming amid genuine chills.
