Off the fog-shrouded coast of Africa, a determined expedition sets out to recover a cache of diamonds from a long-sunken ship — only to find the wreck is still very much protected. The undead sailors who went down with the vessel have never stopped their vigil, and they will drag anyone who threatens their charge into the depths. This lean late-fifties B-picture mixes voodoo lore with swamp-drenched atmosphere to deliver a genuinely uncanny sense of dread on a modest budget.
