The premise
In an effort to reconnect and mend their relationship, a troubled couple and their preteen daughter seek an idyllic getaway to a remote mansion in rural Louisiana. But when unexpected visitors arrive, their facade of family unity starts to unravel, as terrifying secrets come to light.

A crumbling marriage takes center stage when a couple and their young daughter retreat to a secluded Louisiana mansion hoping a change of scenery can patch what's broken between them. The peaceful escape they envisioned quickly sours when uninvited strangers appear and refuse to leave. What follows is a slow tightening of dread as the bayou setting and the visitors' unsettling intentions blur the line between domestic crisis and something far more sinister. The remote mansion becomes less of a refuge and more of a trap.
