The premise
Max and Rudy Van Helsing have spent their lives under the strict and overprotective rule of their father, Abraham. Unaware of his dark past, they struggle to understand his paranoia and increasingly erratic behavior. But when they begin to uncover the violent truths behind their father’s history with Dracula, their world unravels, forcing them to confront the terrifying legacy they were never meant to inherit.

The Van Helsing name carries weight most people only know from legend — but for Max and Rudy, it's the suffocating reality of life under their domineering father Abraham. As the brothers begin peeling back the layers of their father's obsessive paranoia, they discover a violent history with the world's most infamous predator that was deliberately kept from them. This reimagining of the Dracula mythology shifts the lens away from the monster hunter as hero, interrogating what such a life of darkness actually costs a family. The past refuses to stay buried, and the boys are about to learn exactly what they stand to inherit.
