The premise
As Abraham Lincoln labors over the Gettysburg address, the importance of which he is fully aware, he learns that a menace from his past has returned, threatening to tear the already fractured nation to pieces. He must journey behind enemy lines to face an foe far more fearsome than the Confederate army: the walking dead.

During the darkest days of the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln sets aside the pen to pick up a scythe — because the Union's most dangerous enemy isn't wearing grey. A secret mission takes the 16th President deep behind enemy lines to confront a shambling horror he thought he'd buried long ago. Part grindhouse spectacle, part historical pastiche, the film leans hard into its outlandish premise with a surprisingly committed lead performance. Fans of low-budget creature chaos will find plenty to chew on here.
