When a peculiar bookseller arrives at a crumbling aristocratic castle bearing a tome that foretells a deadly legacy, the Zanetti family's reunion with mortality becomes equal parts macabre and farcical. This Italian giallo spoof plays the whodunit formula for laughs while keeping one foot firmly in gothic atmosphere. Suspects multiply as the prophecy's grim arithmetic ticks closer to completion, blending slapstick sensibility with the stylised excess the genre is known for.
