The premise
After moving into their matriarch's gothic seaside mansion, the Evans family soon becomes host to an uninvited demonic force in the form of a mysterious lamp that once resided in the Amityville house.
Horror Vault's take
The fourth entry in the Amityville franchise takes the terror out of Long Island and relocates it to a fog-shrouded California coastal home. A seemingly ordinary lamp — carrying a malevolent force tied to the infamous Amityville house — arrives as an unwanted housewarming gift when a widow and her daughters move in with their elderly mother. Strange and disturbing events quickly follow, putting the whole family in danger. A local priest senses something deeply wrong, but the source of the evil is closer than anyone suspects.
