The premise

Two British nurses pedalling through rural France discover that idyllic countryside can turn treacherous in an instant when one of them vanishes without a trace. Left alone and unable to rely on her French, the remaining woman must decide whom among the tight-lipped locals and enigmatic strangers she can trust — if anyone. Drawing its menace from sun-drenched emptiness rather than darkness, this understated thriller keeps the viewer perpetually off-balance. It is a quietly suffocating study in paranoia set against deceptively pleasant surroundings.
