The premise

Four struggling actors retreat to a remote cabin hoping a DIY horror project will finally launch their careers — until the masked figure they invented for their script seemingly takes on a life of its own. What begins as a scrappy, semi-comedic indie retreat steadily curdles into something far more unnerving. The Duplass Brothers keep the tone deliberately ambiguous, leaving viewers guessing whether the threat is real, imagined, or something in between.
