The premise
Local teens have long commemorated the death of 'Mary Hatchet' - a girl who took an ax and killed her family in the 1970s - with the aptly named Blood Night. But things never got truly bloody until Mary's ghost decided to make an appearance. Dead bodies are piling up, and Mary seems to be calling the shots. But there are secrets about her past that have yet to be uncovered.

Every year, the teens of a small town throw a rowdy party to mark the anniversary of Mary Hatchet — a girl who butchered her own family with an axe decades ago. This year, the celebration takes a deadly turn when something far more sinister than urban legend crashes the festivities. Bodies begin to mount in gruesome fashion, and whispers of Mary's troubled past hint that the story everyone thinks they know may be dangerously incomplete.
