When a zombie apocalypse tears through the outside world, the Indigenous community of Red Crow finds itself in a startling position — their people are mysteriously immune to the plague consuming everyone else. As desperate survivors from beyond the reservation seek refuge, the Mi'kmaq must decide how far they will go to protect their land, their people, and their way of life. Blood Quantum uses the undead genre as a sharp lens through which to examine centuries-old tensions between Indigenous and settler communities, delivering both visceral thrills and genuine emotional weight.
