Deep in rural America, a fire-and-brimstone redneck mechanic runs a roadside operation with a horrifying secret — unsuspecting travelers are lured off the highway and subjected to gruesome medical procedures so their organs can be sold to the highest bidder. When a young woman in a wheelchair becomes his latest target, she proves far more resilient than he bargained for. Equal parts backwoods exploitation and pitch-black comedy, Blood Salvage leans into its low-budget grime with gleeful nastiness. The eclectic cast — including John Saxon and Ray Walston alongside boxing legend Evander Holyfield — adds a cult-oddity charm to the carnage.
