Deep in the trenches of World War I, a band of soldiers retreats into an abandoned bunker — only to find that the horrors outside pale against what lurks within. A malevolent presence begins to fray the bonds between the men, turning allies into threats and eroding every instinct except fear. The cramped underground setting ratchets up the claustrophobia as the line between enemy and comrade dissolves.
