The premise
When a behavioral science major investigates murders at Capps Crossing, she finds herself trapped in a twisted web of lies surrounding the local ranger and his son.

A behavioral science student arrives at the remote Capps Crossing area to investigate a string of murders, only to find that the deeper she digs, the more dangerous her situation becomes. The local ranger and his son cast long shadows over the truth, and she soon realizes the lies surrounding them may cost her everything. Part backwoods thriller, part psychological cat-and-mouse, the film leans into the dread of being trapped far from help with nowhere safe to turn.
