The premise
Chronically agoraphobic since the day his wife was murdered, Tommy Cowley finds himself terrorized by a gang of syringe-wielding feral children, who are intent on taking his baby daughter. Upon discovering the nightmarish truth surrounding these hooded children, he learns that to be free of his fears, he must finally face the demons of his past and enter the one place he fears the most - the abandoned tower block, known as the Citadel.

In the rain-soaked housing estates of Scotland, a young father paralysed by agoraphobia after a devastating personal tragedy finds his fragile world collapsing when a pack of hooded, feral children begin stalking him and his infant daughter. What begins as a desperate fight to protect his family slowly reveals a deeper, more disturbing truth lurking within a condemned tower block that haunts the edge of his neighbourhood. Citadel is a slow-burn British horror that uses its grimy, desolate setting to mirror its protagonist's fractured mental state. Courage, grief, and the primal instinct to protect a child drive this tense and unrelenting descent into fear.
