When a writer retreats with his family to a remote cabin, a series of deeply disturbing nocturnal experiences leave him — and those closest to him — questioning the boundaries of reality. Christopher Walken delivers a singular, increasingly unhinged performance as a man haunted by visions he cannot explain and memories he cannot fully trust. Drawing from a supposedly autobiographical source, the film blurs the line between extraterrestrial encounter and psychological unraveling in ways that refuse easy answers. It is a slow-burn ordeal that gets under the skin long after the credits roll.
