The premise
After moving to the country to start life anew after their child's death, photographer Shawn Burnett and his wife, Helen, begin to suspect that a ramshackle cabin on their property is haunted by the malevolent spirit of a long-dead witch who once lived there.

Seeking a fresh start in the countryside after an unthinkable family tragedy, Shawn and Helen Burnett soon find that the land they've chosen holds darker secrets than they bargained for. A decrepit cabin sitting on their property seems to pulse with a sinister energy rooted in the community's forgotten history. As strange occurrences mount, the couple must confront whether what haunts them is supernatural — or something closer to home. This slow-burn rural horror draws its dread from grief, isolation, and the sense that some places simply refuse to let go of their past.
