The premise
A former astronaut helps a government agent and a police detective track the source of mysterious alien pod spores, filled with lethal flesh-dissolving acid, to a South American coffee plantation controlled by alien pod clones.

When a drifting cargo ship arrives carrying a grotesque and lethal secret, a reluctant ex-astronaut is pulled into a dangerous investigation alongside a no-nonsense government agent and a street-level detective. Their trail leads from the docks to the steaming fields of South America, where something far worse than a simple smuggling operation awaits. Italian genre maestro Luigi Cozzi delivers a relentless blend of sci-fi paranoia and visceral shock, built around pulsating alien eggs with catastrophically messy consequences. Fans of late-70s European genre cinema will find plenty to savour in this unashamedly lurid creature feature.
