The premise
Picking up directly where the previous film left off, the story follows Riley, one of the last people to come in contact with Samantha, as he scrambles to track down those responsible for the outbreak before the highly contagious disease not only consumes his body, but the world as we know it.

Picking up immediately after the events of the first film, Phase II shifts the lens to Riley, a secondary survivor now carrying the terrifying infection within him. As his body begins to betray him in increasingly horrifying ways, he desperately pursues the shadowy figures behind the outbreak before it spirals beyond any hope of containment. This sequel broadens the scope of the original's intimate nightmare into something with genuine apocalyptic stakes, while keeping the visceral body horror front and centre.
