The premise
Cordelia ia a troubled, damaged soul who is only just recovering after some unnamed trauma; she is an actor rehearsing a play and comes to stay in a creepy London mansion flat occupied by her twin sister Caroline and Caroline’s boyfriend Matt. When they leave her alone there Cordelia strikes up a friendship with Frank the charming, but strange and unreliable young man they can hear practising his cello in the upstairs flat – a relationship which quickly becomes very disturbing.

Still piecing herself together after a devastating personal trauma, Cordelia retreats to her sister's imposing London mansion flat — only to find that solitude breeds something far more dangerous than loneliness. A fateful encounter with the enigmatic musician upstairs pulls her into a relationship that blurs the line between comfort and menace. As the grand old building closes in around her, it becomes increasingly difficult to know what — or whom — to trust, including her own perceptions. This intimate British psychological thriller wrings maximum unease from minimum space.
