The premise

A journalist from an Eastern European country arrives in Paris to start a tour of European capitals. His intention is to make a documentary about the European dream. Between fascination and difficulty of adaptation, Sorgoï struggles to complete his project and his expedition drives him to a devastating state of madness.

Horror Vault's take

An Eastern European journalist arrives in Paris with a camera and grand ambitions — to document the fabled European dream for his homeland audience. What begins as a wide-eyed travelogue slowly curdles into something far more disturbing as the city refuses to yield the fantasy he came to capture. Shot in a raw mockumentary style, the film charts one man's psychological unraveling across a continent that seems indifferent to his existence. Equal parts dark comedy and slow-burn dread, it's a portrait of a mind pushed past its breaking point.
