The premise
In the California desert, the adventures of a telepathic killer-tire, mysteriously attracted by a very pretty girl, as witnessed by incredulous onlookers.

A discarded tire named Robert awakens in the California desert and discovers it possesses a deadly telekinetic power, leaving a trail of destruction across the sun-baked landscape. The film doubles as a gleeful meta-experiment, framing the carnage through an audience of spectators who watch events unfold as if it were a show staged just for them. Part absurdist comedy, part genre deconstruction, Rubber dares viewers to question why they demand logic from their horror at all. It is a singular, divisive experience unlike almost anything else in the genre.
