A struggling actor named Clayton sees a career-defining opportunity in landing the role of a demonologist — but preparing for it draws him into something far more dangerous than method acting. He spends a fateful weekend with Eliza, a compelling and enigmatic expert in devil lore, who pushes him through increasingly disturbing rituals that blur the line between research and genuine darkness. As the sessions grow more intense, Clayton begins to question whether Eliza is his mentor, his temptress, or something altogether more sinister. The film plays a careful, creeping game with the audience's trust, keeping motivations shadowy until the very end.
