The premise
As her marriage to decorated war hero Oliver draws near, well-heeled Diana moves into an apartment within an otherwise unoccupied, sprawling London house where she starts to experience strange and terrifying nightmares. But are these troubling night terrors merely the symptom of an unsettled mind, or the sign of something far more sinister at work? Hounded by a pair of sleazy journalists, Diana soon crosses paths with American tourist Jenny, who appears to have a strange connection to the foreboding house and its dark past.

On the eve of her high-society wedding, Diana moves into a grand but eerily empty London townhouse and finds her nights increasingly invaded by vivid, horrifying dreams she can't explain. When an American stranger named Jenny turns up with an inexplicable tie to the property, the line between sleeping terror and waking reality begins to dissolve. Drawing on the late-80s taste for dreamscape horror, Dream Demon traps its characters inside a labyrinth of shifting identities and buried secrets. Part psychological slow-burn, part supernatural nightmare, it's a distinctly British entry in the dream-horror subgenre.
