The premise
The residents of a rural mining town discover that an unfortunate chemical spill has caused hundreds of little spiders to mutate overnight to the size of SUVs. It's then up to mining engineer Chris McCormack and Sheriff Sam Parker to mobilize an eclectic group of townspeople, including the Sheriff's young son, Mike, her daughter, Ashley, and paranoid radio announcer Harlan, into battle against the bloodthirsty eight-legged beasts.

When a toxic chemical spill contaminates the local ecosystem of a struggling desert mining town, the spider population doesn't just survive — it explodes in size. Within days, creatures that once hid under floorboards are now the size of trucks and hungry for anything that moves. A returning engineer and the town's no-nonsense sheriff must rally a ragtag band of locals to mount a defense before the whole community becomes prey. It's loud, it's wild, and it never pretends to be anything other than a gloriously entertaining creature feature.
