The premise
At the breaking point of their dysfunctional marriage, Cass and Gav take a trip through Serbia. After meeting a mysterious local, Saint Peter, who eagerly offers to be their guide, the couple embarks on an impromptu sightseeing expedition that soon takes a series of sinister turns.

A crumbling marriage becomes the least of two Americans' problems when a trip through Serbia takes a deeply sinister detour. After accepting the guidance of a charismatic local, the couple finds themselves pulled into an increasingly threatening landscape far from anything familiar. Eight Eyes weaponizes the vulnerability of being a foreigner in an unknown place, turning scenic sightseeing into something far more menacing. The film builds its dread slowly, leaning on interpersonal friction and cultural unease before fully baring its teeth.
