The premise
When an unknown disease wipes out most of the world’s population, a man with unique blood is isolated for study. Fearing for his wife’s safety, he breaks his quarantine – into a world overrun by monstrous Infected and a shadowy agency hunting them down.

A catastrophic plague has reduced civilization to ruins, leaving one man alive with blood that may hold the key to understanding the outbreak. Kept under strict quarantine by a mysterious agency, his resolve cracks when fear for his wife pushes him to break containment. Outside, the world he knew is gone — replaced by something far more dangerous than an empty city. What hunts in the dark is no longer entirely human.
